Rosalind grew up in Invercargill before moving to the Waikato where she now lives with her partner and two children. After spending time working in a variety of specialist residential homes for young people, she completed her Bachelor of Social Work. Rosalind then moved into therapeutic work, working for many years as a Functional Family Therapist providing therapy to young people and their whānau with challenging and complex behaviours and mental health challenges.
Rosalind believes that it is a privilege to be a part of people's journeys, often in their most challenging and painful of times, and combines systemic, strength-based and cognitive-behavioural theories to provide an empathetic and caring approach to those that she walks alongside.
Rosalind works with the families True Colours supports using both her professional and personal experiences to help gently navigate the complexities of relationships and other challenging changes that our journeys and trauma can bring.
