Jo has worked as a registered nurse for over 25 years in various community-based roles, focused on high need families and children who have experienced trauma.

She is passionate that children and young people have a voice in their own care and wellbeing, and believes they are our upcoming greatest resource here in Aotearoa, and we need to nurture them.

She has a (arguably) good sense of humor, is empathetic and passionate about animal welfare and the rights of children.
