MBBS, FRACP, FRCPCH, MRCPCH, MSc Allergy (Imperial College, London)

The newest trustee at True Colours, Dr Suniti Bisht is currently a Consultant Paediatrician with Special interest in Allergy at Waikato Hospital.

She completed training as a Paediatrician in London, UK and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Child Health (FRCPCH) UK. She has a postgraduate degree (M.Sc. Allergy) from Imperial College, London, and 15 years of extensive experience in treating children with Allergies as well as general paediatric conditions.

Suniti moved to New Zealand in 2017 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) as well as a member of ASCIA (Australasian Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology), the peak body for Allergies in Australia and New Zealand.

Her work as a General Paediatrician gives her an insight to the issues faced by whanau of children dealing with chronic illness.  She is also closely involved in the management and care of tamariki in the Waikato and passionate about ensuring whanau receive support as much as possible in their journey.
