A big thank you to everyone that has supported True Colours over the past 6 months. Your support means the world to us. Here are a couple of highlights:
Dairy Goat Co-operative Trust
We were grateful to receive $4645 from the Dairy Goat Co-operative Trust in August. The trust was established in 2017 with the aim of strengthening communities through charitable donations in the Co-operative’s shareholder regions. Their funding focuses on improving the health, education and welfare of children and families. Their donation to True Colours is in alignment with their mission to nourish and care for future generations and their families.
Waikato Sunrise Rotary
Waikato Sunrise Rotary held a Circus Quirkus event at Clarence St Theatre earlier this year and helped raise $11,000 for True Colours. What an amazing result and we were delighted to have been chosen as the recipients for this wonderful event.
School Support
We have been lucky enough to have some schools holding mufti days with proceeds coming to True Colours. A big thank you to the students of Frankton School, St Josephs Morrinsville, St Josephs Matamata and Te Awamutu Intermediate who have all raised funds for us. Te Kowhai School also held their Twilight Fiesta recently and raised $975 for us.
Smugglers Liquor
The lovely Kansal family who own Smugglers Liquor Store on Willoughby Street, hold a sausage sizzle every Saturday outside their store with proceeds coming to True Colours. This year all those sausages helped raise $1600 for us. A big thank you to them for all their hard work in support of True Colours.
Colors Pamper Day
The team at Colors Hair Company understand how hard it can be for mums to take time out for themselves especially when they have a child with a serious health condition. That’s why they choose to hold a pamper day each year for the mums that True Colours support. We are incredibly thankful to Djuanne and her team for donating their time and expertise to make these ladies feel important and look amazing!
Urban Homes
We are excited to announce a new sponsorship partnership with Urban Homes.
Urban Homes will make a donation to True Colours for every new house they build and will help to promote our organisation to their community. We kicked the partnership off with a fun family day bowling, thanks to Urban. We are feeling blessed to align ourselves with a company like Urban Homes who not only build amazing homes, but are a genuinely great bunch of people.
